This is my first post using blogger for my MEIT courses. I have a blog at work that I use for our Technology Learning Community. It is used to post articles, thoughts, and links for members of our school who wish to learn more about technology in education.
I followed the link to your existing blog. I found the write-up on using Gaming towards education to be an eye-opener and it really helped me see things in a new perspective.
The quote about students being 'unplugged' when they go to school was like an earthquake for me. In my days as a student we didn't have cellphones, widgets, social networking sites. School was the social network!
Also, I was really impressed at the policies and procedures that have been put into place at your school. To be honest, I really have to come back and absorb more.
